After living in the UK for some time, she moved to Australia in 2006, and quickly established herself as a successful Art Director in Sydney, working on some of the country’s leading magazines and digital publications such as CHOICE, Gourmet Traveler, Harper’s BAZAAR, Australian Women’s Weekly, and the QANTAS in-flight magazine.

Maria’s property experience is evident in her work via Black and White Projects, a company she co-founded with her husband Jason Baron. Combining her passion for design with their property know-how, Maria and Jason have helped transform homes and commercial projects across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Sydney. Her work has been featured in leading design magazines such as Adore Home Magazine and The Interiors Addict, and her website showcases some of the impressive renovations that she and Jason have completed.
